Weather data?

Where is weather info taken from? I upload from my Garmin to Strava but as far as I know, Strava doesn't care about temperature. I've been riding in some ridiculous weather with the recent heat wave and I was just curious how this info was gathered.

The weather info is not as accurate as I would like. The way I do it is to ask wunderground.com what the weather is like at the closest weather station to your GPS location. In some cases that is many miles away and may not reflect how hot it is where you are. But for now that is about the best I can do.
